赵世钰为西湖大学工学院特聘研究员、智能无人系统实验室负责人、人工智能系副系主任。他本硕毕业于北京航空航天大学,博士毕业于新加坡国立大学,回国前任英国谢菲尔德大学自动控制与系统工程系Lecturer。研究领域为多机器人系统中的控制、决策与感知。他的代表性研究成果以第一或通讯作者发表在Nature Communications、IEEE-TRO、IJRR、IEEE-CSM等期刊。他是中国自动化学会TCCT专委会委员、人工智能学会智能决策专委会委员、指控学会集群智能与协同控制专委会委员。他是国际期刊IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters、Unmanned Systems、International Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control的编委,曾担任ICCA2018的英国区域主席和ICCA2019的程序委员会主席。他参与承担了科技创新2030—重大项目、国家重点研发机器人重点专项等项目,曾获得领跑者5000——中国精品科技期刊顶尖论文、第33届中国控制会议关肇直奖。他同时入选斯坦福全球前2%顶尖科学家“终身影响力”和“年度影响力”两个榜单,在子领域排名为前0.2%=250/113906。他曾任IEEE Control Systems Society Conference Editorial Board Committee委员和多个国际会议的编委(包括IEEE ICRA, IROS, CDC, ACC, ICCA, ICARCV, ICUAS等) 。此外,他撰写的强化学习的英文教材《Mathematical Foundations of Reinforcement Learning》由清华大学出版社和Springer出版社联合出版,目前教材已经在GitHub收获3500+星,配套课程视频全网播放超过100万,并获得广泛关注和好评。

Shiyu Zhao is currently an Associate Professor at the School of Engineering at Westlake University and the Director of the Intelligent Unmanned Systems Laboratory. He received the BEng and MEng degrees from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Singapore. Before he joined Westlake University, he was a Lecturer in Aerospace Systems in the Department of Automatic control at the University of Sheffield, UK.

His research interests lie in the theories of estimation, control, and reinforcement learning and their applications to intelligent robotic systems especially multi-robot systems and micro aerial vehicles. He has published more than 60 research papers in international journals including Nature Communications, IEEE Control Systems Magazine, IEEE Transactions on Robotics, IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, and Automatica. He is currently as an Associate Editor for the journals of IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters, International Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control, and Unmanned Systems. He is one of the World's Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University, and simultaneously entered both the "Career-long impact" and "Single-year impact" ranks (his rank is 0.2%=250/113,906 in the subfield). He served as a member of the IEEE Control Systems Society Conference Editorial Board Committee and Associate Editors for quite a few international conferences such as IEEE ICRA, IROS, CDC, ACC, ICCA, and ICUAS.  He was the ICCA2018 UK Regional Chair and Program Chair of ICCA2019. His new textbook "Mathematical Foundations of Reinforcement Learning" is jointly published by Tsinghua University Press and Springer Nature Press. The textbook as received 3,500+ stars on GitHub and the open course has recieved 1,000,000 views over the Internet.
