News! Research positions in aerial manipulation robots (October 22, 2025)
Postdoctoral Researchers (1-2 openings) Have a PhD degree in relevant fields. Have published good research articles. Have research experience in relevant fields such as drones, robotic arms, robotics, embodied intelligence, etc. Aspire to produce high-impact research outcomes.
Research Assistants (Several openings) Have master's or bachelor's degrees. Have research experience in relevant fields such as drones, robotic arms, robotics, embodied intelligence, etc. Interested in producing high-impact research outcomes.
Visiting Students (Several openings) Students at all levels (undergraduate, graduate, doctoral). Enrolled in a renowned university in a relevant major. Have a strong interest in robotics. Able to conduct a relatively long-term visiting study.
Remarks:
Corresponding salaries or living stipends will be provided to all positions to ensure you can focus on your research. For those who are interested in pursuing a Ph.D. with me, you are also welcome to join the lab first as a Research Assistant or Visiting Student. This allows both of us to get to know each other better. Contact Information: Please send your self-introduction and CV to my email.

Openings for PhD students: We are seeking PhD students that start in the autumn of 2026 in the fields of advanced control, reinforcement learning, large models for multi-robot systems or next-generation flying robots. All PhD students will be fully financially supported during their studies. Also, it is based on application and interview (no entrance examination is required). If you are interested, you are suggested to contact me in advance to do an intership, during which you can do a small research project. In this way, we both can get to know each other better. Before sending me an email, please check our website to get to know our lab better. I would only respond to those that I think might be suitable.

Openings for research internships: We are open to research interns or visiting students. The internship of every student is associated with some basic financial support. If you are interested in our group, you are welcome to send me an email. If you are suitable for some of our research topics, you will be contacted.

Welcome to the WINDY Lab (Westlake INtelligent unmanneD sYstems Laboratory)! Our lab focuses on novel theories and applications of robotic systems, especially multi-robot systems. We are interested in next-generation robotic systems that are interesting, meaningful, and challenging to study. Currently, we have more than 20 group members including postdocs, Ph.D. students, research engineers, and research assistants. Each of them focuses on a specific interesting research direction and in the meantime collaborates with others to create more impactful research results. We have first-rate studying and experimental facilities. More importantly, we have a good scientific research atmosphere that enables students to concentrate on creating high-quality research results.
